BISP Wallet SIM Becomes Mandatory for Future Payments, Beneficiaries Advised to Collect SIMs
The BISP has reportedly made Wallet SIMs an important requirement for beneficiaries who wish to continue receiving their payments in the future.
According to the latest update, beneficiaries are being repeatedly advised to collect their Wallet SIMs before the announced deadline. Officials have indicated that future payments may be linked to the availability of these SIMs.
Many beneficiaries have already received their Wallet SIMs, while others are still waiting. Some individuals have reported issues related to eligibility, suspended payments, or the absence of a SIM collection option.
Beneficiaries who have already received their Wallet SIMs are advised to keep the SIM active by inserting it into their mobile phones and using it regularly for calls, messages, and internet services.
It has also been clarified that beneficiaries do not need to open any bank account at this stage. They only need to keep their Wallet SIM active and wait for future instructions through official BISP communication channels.
Officials are expected to provide further updates regarding beneficiaries who have not yet received their Wallet SIMs and whether additional opportunities for collection will be announced.
